Neb’s love for real estate has steered him to his greatest passion auctioneering. Since calling his first auction in 2010, Neb has conducted more than 350 auctions throughout Melbourne and is now called upon other successful real estate professionals to assist them with conducting their auctions.
His other passion lies in mentoring and coaching other real estate professionals in particularly aspiring young people. This has led some of Neb’s past students to successfully further their careers and open their own real estate office, an achievement which Neb is extremely proud of.
Neb is now one of the most sought after real estate professionals and auctioneers in the Dandenong area and successfully runs and manages his family business with his father Ranko, mother Milena and sister Duska.
But before real estate, where did the story begin for Neb? Being born in a small town in Croatia, Neb’s family fled the war torn country in the early nineties with little more than the clothes on their backs and two suitcases full of photo albums. After arriving in Australia, Neb’s parents worked incredibly hard to learn English and make sure that their children would be given every possible opportunity to succeed in life.
Finishing both primary and secondary school with high distinction grades, Neb sought an interest in engineering early on however discovered that his true passion laid in architecture and city planning. After high school he was accepted into Melbourne University, one of Australia’s most prestigious universities, where he would go on to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning and Development.
During his time at university, Neb’s father Ranko suggested that he should also obtain a real estate license and look at the possibility of working alongside him in real estate. Neb listened and before he knew it he was working in real estate full time and completing his degree part time. Soon after Neb and Ranko along with Milena and Duska made a collective family decision to open their own real estate business and have never looked back. The business which initially opened its door as a franchised Harcourts office and in 2013 was rebranded to Del Real Estate has been in operation since 2007 with Neb managing and running the sales department.
Neb’s passion in working with people has seen him join various community groups and his love for sport has meant that he is always looking to give back to local sporting clubs especially at grass root levels. He also seeks new ways to give back to the local community especially throughout the Dandenong area and has organized events including various Family Days and Easter Egg Hunts as well as being the host for DandenongTV, a fully funded and managed community TV channel established by Neb.
During the little time Neb has off he loves spending time with his wife Josephine, watching all forms of sport and exploring different parts of the world.
Neb has worked in real estate in Dandenong since 2005 and has personally helped more than 1000 individuals and families to either find their perfect family home or build their investment property portfolio. Since beginning his career at the young age of 19, Neb’s passion has always been advising and guiding people to make correct decisions when it comes to their homes. His clients often appreciate being able to ask Neb any question and knowing that it will be answered with their best interest in mind.
